my friends are random selections, but it's the same friends displayed all the time
can you make a "top friends" list or a display random friends as it is with facourites?

Yes! I've been wondering about that too.
I want to show off all my friends, because they are good artists and good friends. But I don't want to have fifty avatars loading either. You either have to show everyone on "a" or "z", or the newest or oldest. What about those in the middle?
Having them random sounds like a great suggestion.

I think it's a good idea, that way you can show all of your friends without having a list of 50+ people 
not that I have so many friends right now but I may have them in the future! XD
