We know that dA's already large collection of creative emoticons is what makes it a unique place, but we've noticed that there are many more great emotes submitted that aren't put to use as they could be, and some designers have even made separate accounts to use the avatar as their emote(s) in posting.
We want to suggest a different way for these talented deviants to get their emotes in the spotlight. We think it would be really cool if there were a way for the deviants who design emotes to submit them into a category similar to the dA Films, where the procedure includes an approval of workmanship; that they are making good quality, non-redundant ones. Maybe even allow deviants to vote on or nominate their favorite new emotes to be added to the Emoticon Legend for easier use.
If our suggestion won't work is there another way to acknowledge these deviants?
Iv also noticed there are alot of emoticons not on the official emote list DA has up to offer. Update? D:

Do you have nothing better to do with your life? Go out and plant a fucking tree, you lazy bitch. Plant it most violently. Rip somebody's parking lot up to do it. Beat them violently to death with a shovel, if they try to object. ~ Alexiuss
That's a great idea, but remove the "deviation" from the emote text, and it becomes more convenient, all the while keeping your name and ownership into the mix!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
