Q: How do I send a note to someone that has not sent me a note before?

A: To do this you would need to go to your notes folder by clicking on your messages link located next to your username. Once in your messages click on the tab 'notes' and you will be presented with the option to send a note to someone. Simply fill in the recipient field and subject along with your message and you are ready to send a note to someone who has never noted you prior.

Q: Where did the 'Send a Note' button on userpages go to?

A: This is one of the changes to help fight against spam that were made while we work on the notes system. Do not worry this change is not forever and will return once the notes system changes are finalized.

Q: I received a note from a friend and replied to it but it never made it to them.

A: While we make changes to the notes system, you will have to either click on reply to have your friends name filled in so you can reply to them or you will need to add it yourself. If neither are done you will experience the problem you describe.
