April 15 - Deviant Appreciation Day?

You remember back when... that day someone decided on a deviantART Staff Appreciation Day? And everyone on that day went and commented on Staff and Volunteer's pages saying how they appreciated them and the work they do? Well, that was great... because they do a lot for this site... and I remember I became an @MN shortly after that and was touched by how many of you reached out to the hard working staff members of this community... but... well...

Well... what about all the deviants of this community? There are millions of you and without you this site would be nothing. NOTHING.

This site depends solely upon YOU. Without you, without your art, your community spirit, your forum postings, your journals, your opinions, your fantastic news articles... without you... deviantART wouldn't be deviantART.

I think we should have a Deviant Appreciation Day. A day where everyone in this art community does something to show how much we appreciate everyone else for being here.

What do you think?

Do you have any ideas on how this should work? After all, you are the community, you should be involved in this if this is to happen...


I love this place... and I want to show it.

I'm putting up a bunch of Photoshop and GIMP brushes and patterns in my gallery, and a few large-format textures besides. FREE, no strings attached, come and get 'em!

I would like to divide impressions. Since a short time I have begun work with photoshop. I admire work on portal all place and I will concede, that I teach from they great deal. I salute all, somehow which have contributed to my small progress. I thank you all.
