Gift season has come early this year, and it's time for you guys to show everyone that the Deviants Forum is the #1 leader in holiday cheer!
Here's how you do it:
Step 1) Find an item around your house. (toaster, plunger, remote control, etc.)
Step 2) Gift-wrap it. (No professional materials required. Use whatever you can find.)
Step 3) Take a picture. (No camera? No problem. Simply include a description of how awesome your gift is.)
Step 4) Give it away to someone. (and watch their face light up with joy!)
Upload a picture of your gift to the internet, and post a link here. DO NOT SUBMIT IT AS A DEVIATION. Use an off-site hosting page, such as Photobucket, ImageShack, or TinyPic.
Bonus points for getting people's reaction to your gift in a picture.
Here's my bit of Holiday Cheer: [link] I wrapped up our old flyswatter, and gave it to my girlfriend.
Her reaction went a little something like this: "YOU had the flyswatter!? I've been looking for it for days! There's flies everywhere! "
So she spent the next hour hunting down flies with her brand new old flyswatter. She didn't even unwrap it.
It's your turn now. Get your Spirit of Giving in motion and HO HO HO let's start the show!

I'm definately doing this. I have to think of something to wrap now.

Discussing page views, activity and popularity, ~ChaoticSkye explores the inner workings of the community on deviantART from her point of view.
Although this does not apply to everyone, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority perceive things from a different point of view from reading this.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
