What kind of users annoy you most?

I think the worst ones are:

The killjoys. When there is a fun thread going on and somebody comes in and calls the mods and gets it closed.

The point beggars. I clearly say on my profile that I don't give out points, but I get notes or even comments on my profile asking for them, usually from complete strangers.

The person who I give a llama to, they thank me for it, but don't send one back. Commenting is more effort than returning one... I don't get it. :stare: I'd even rather have no comment and no return.

What do you think?

2. "Do you do requests? I'd even be willing to donate 5:points:!"
3. "Please do not thank me for the fave, llama, watch, or comment or I will hide your comment and block you!!!!11"

The 'Do you take free requests? When will you take free requests? Can I have a free request? Why won't you make me free art?' DA users 0___________0

I once drew somebody's characters on the DrawPlz forum, which was doing a free request for them. He then asked me to re-draw the picture in a better program, and didn't even thank me in the first place. I said no, I mean how entitled can you be. D:

Right?! D: Like, if someone is willing to go out of their way to create art for you, then you have no reason to be self entitled! Dx Man, that is just horrible >< I'm so sorry D: Did you tell him no?

I have to admit there were a few times I got llamas and didnt return the "favor". I guess I wasn't aware of the etiquette of llama exchange on DA..? What are they for anyway?

They really don't do much, to be honest! Llama trading is just a fun thing to do around the site and it's free to do so. I think people get grumpy because they're trying to get a different llama (they change depending on how many you receive from other people) but that's just a guess.

I really don't have issues trading llamas to be honest, although I did occasionally get people getting grumpy because I didn't return a llama right away!

Haha, could you believe that..
Well here's a llama

Some people take the llama game a  little too seriously to be honest.

And thanks! I've sent one to you earlier as well!

Commenting on my own post because somebody took it to a new level annoying me!

They asked me to watch them back on my profile. I wanted to comment saying this isn't Facebook or Instagram so no... but I decided to hide the comment and let it go. They then mentioned me in an image, completely in Spanish, saying something about asking for points (I don't speak Spanish but it said "puntos") and they mentioned like 50 people... first person I ever blocked.

Anyone who pretends their fanart or "original" art is anything worth paying for. Anyone who thinks their doodles need copyright protection.
Anyone who whips up drama just to whip up drama.

People who load their pages with so much content it nearly crashes your system when you load them. Someone please explain to me why anyone above twelve years old would want do this, other than scream "Severely Insecure" to anyone who tries to read anything on the page

People who are sensitive and see virtually everything as a personal attack. Unfortunately, this site is full of this type, especially with people who block others because "It's my opinion!!"

Many of the people who claim to have mental disabilities like autism or anxiety. When you ask who told them this, they say, "no one," which equates to self-diagnostics. Way to keep up the misconception that mental disabilities do not exist, kids

Troll banquet waiters/waitresses, or people who deliberately feed trolls knowing full well they are trolls and having the genitals to complain when they, as the YouTube crowd puts it, "get wrecked"

People who don't take the minute or so to read the rules of each forum. This especially applies to the Complaints section where it says right there that you should lurk the place before you post so you would know what kind of folks you are dealing with, which honestly should go without say

The whole adult baby thing among diaper fetishists. Just bask in that autism

Whoever it is on the administration staff or in the community on this site that thinks sexually explicit images of children are okay but age-ups, even completely G-rated ones, are an automatic warrant of a suspension or the banhammer

People who blindly and unconditionally defend the victim, especially if the victim is female. Call me cold, but if you or someone you care for gets attacked by someone, I will not automatically point fingers at the attacker other than to say that they should be in jail for said attack

People who type exclusively in "textese." I find it quite hard to take anyone seriously if they type as if they have a severe case of autism

People who type in a font that would require something stronger than a microscope to read and expect to be taken seriously

People who treat whatever they're a fan of as a religion *coughstevenuniverse*

People who constantly shout things slandering their own artwork, obviously trying to fish for compliments, although to me, it looks more like an attempt to find someone to send their army of white knights at

People who literally go around looking for things to get sensitive over, including those who knowingly turn the mature filter off and get surprised that there is porn on this site. You know, with that amount of time you're wasting shitting yourself over other people's talents, you could be making a difference with yours

Radical feminists, or what the Internet calls them, "feminazis," or females who deem themselves superior to men

Beta feminists and all other folks who fall under the classification of folks who claim to be fighting for equality yet always have some skeletons in their closet, usually slanders against white and/or "cisgender" males

People in general who spend more time whining than doing, which is somewhat contradictory to the point of the Complaints section

People who misconceive requests with commissions and expect the highest possible quality

People who believe you are their property and thus believe to have a right to police everything you do

People who abuse features that are meant to keep order in the community, like blocking. The only reason this does not infuriate me is the fact half, if not many of these people will not survive very long in the real world

Now, I could sum this entire post up with the word "People" alone but then I'd get thousands of Tumblrites blowing up my feed shouting the word "generalizing"

"People who believe you are their property and thus believe to have a right to police everything you do"

I never thought of it that way, I can totally see that now and might want to use this analogy the next time I get policed.

Very insightful, Jellybean.

Although, I think block abuse is fun.

One of my ex-friends treated me like that where they tried to police what I posted here and what things I should like and what friends I should talk to then made me feel horrible when I tried to defend myself. Needless to say, we're not friends anymore.

I remember seeing some chick who was an athiest, an anti-brony and other things I can't remember like this. Quite a few people hated her for the things she said and and eventually, people started trolling her. What makes it even worse was that she actually threatened to call her police department about it, and if I remember correctly, she actually did. Yep, she called the police not because of personal information posted elsewhere, not because of harassment, but because of TROLLING, which I'm sure the police have more important issues to deal with than that. Plus, she lived in Germany. The Germany police force won't be able to do shit when the people they're dealing with are overseas. She has since deactivated her account, but I have a screencap of one of her comments. Insult me again, and I'll call the police! by Actinium28

...I didn't realize it was custom to thank people for each llama you receive. Personally it annoys me when people spam my page with fake-ass 'thankyous' which are more accurately described as 'take a look at my art! again!' (yes they leave links to their gallery in their thankyou notes) and subsequently some will have the gall to tell me to watch them (like I cannot make up my own mind whom to watch or no). I don't give people llamas in order to receive one in return, I don't fav someone's art to get noticed, I don't comment on someone's art to get a thankyou, and I don't watch people to get watched back. This is not grade school or your basic social media website. This is (supposed to be) an art site. If and when I llama, fav, comment, or watch you, it simply means I like what you do. You can 'thank' me by making more of it -- make more awesome art, dammit!

:) srry 4 da rant

You'll enjoy it even more when their thank yous have images that they drew saying thank you, featuring characters they've drawn as the ones saying thank you.

Congratulations, your page is now functioning as their free advertising, it's happened to me 17 times already. Disgusting.
