roses are red, violets are blue
Hitler did nothing, there's plenty a jew!

Wash me away
in an endless sea of grey.
Devoid the pigment from me
and drain the color from everything I see.
You're the devil,
draining my life.
Keep me tied up,
but i know I'll win the fight.
The grey will disappear
and the life God gave will shine through the night.
For after all,
grey is nothing but hue-deprived light.

I think I am feeling a little azure
What that means I'm really not sure
Maybe it's more ultramarine
But that doesn't fit anyone I've ever seen
Could it be that I'm indigo
How that feels I don't really know
Perhaps I am a little cyan
Not a good color to look for a man
I know I am not really cobalt
That would have to be somebodys fault
I surely hope I am not sapphire
Because that would indeed be dire
I guess I am just standard old blue
Because this poem is all that I have to do.

Taken by the wind,
We are alone.
The blue that took us,
That molded us,
Has left us.
The blue sky is gone, taken by the grey,
The blue water is gone, dark like the sky,
And dyed by our red.
The blue gave us calm,
The blue gave us thought,
The blue gave us strength,
Now... the grey takes our calm,
The grey takes our thought,
The grey takes our strength,
And gives us an end.
Taken by the wind,

Green is the color used to describe the Earth, because it is the mean of all life that has been given birth.
Green is the plankton that provide the air we need, the forest that provide the things we need.

Green is plants crushed in soil, turned into oil, becoming the shaky base on which build our economy, an economy fueled by a thirst for green.
Green is the the color jealousy, of wounds revealed physically and mentally, oozing and festering.

Because in the end what meaning does anything have in the context of everything?

Is a color much like me,
She is always underrated.
Not given much attention.
Always passed by when,
asked for favorites.
She is the color of,
things considered spooky.
Always hiding her sadness,
With a bright smile.
No one holds her close,

They don't realize,

For without her,
One would never see the sun.
