The most important thing?

:iconchillydragon:
chillydragon Featured By Owner Feb 12, 2013
when you meet a deviant, what will make you want to look at their gallery the most?( if you haven't seen their deviations yet )
Their avatar, their name, signature or the comments they posted ? :noes:

oooh this is very great question :) I guess their post and comments and stuff will intrigue me the most, then next will be their username and last avatar. Some usernames spark my interest and can say something about the artist, like mine has madame and people think I am classy :D lol

:XD: Ah, I DID think that you are classy.
And, yup, that's a wise choice! Their comments and posts can tell some parts about their character! :)
p.s:
Sorry for the late reply! :noes:
Ah, I'm not good at English... :D So, I hope you can understand me!

Mostly what they post, their comments; avatars or names not so much only very few times and signatures I don't even read those.

Ya, I hardly read signatures.
I often pay attention on: comments -> avatar -> username. :D

Yeah, I think it's the same way for me. If they put interesting comments I check their page but sometimes the avatar caught my eye too, very rare for me to look at someones page because of their username though.

The avatar sometimes hints as to their art style, like in the case of :iconaeolus06: :icontracyjb: and :iconscargut-the-gutless:.
Then there are people like me who can't draw well, so we use whatever we can find.

Thank you! Should I ever get a working scanner, I hope to do more modeling. I'm not so good at organics just yet, but object modeling I've got pretty good.

Depends on if I'm browsing or on the forums. Obviously searching for something and stumbling into someone's good art is a good way to get me looking through their gallery.

Otherwise, if their remarks on the forum hint at them being more inclined to actually make art instead of derping around here like I often do... :icongarfieldderpplz:

For me it's pretty much a mixture of three; the avatar, what they say and also their name. If I like the sounds of the user, I will go over to their profile and browse their gallery.

Usually, it's their avatars that I always notice first. =P If it "attracts" me or my curiosity, I'll click it to see more of this person. =D Of course, I want to meet nice people, and what I've observed, most of those who are nice use nice avatars too, and those who are "strong" or loud or sometimes aggressive use avatars related to it. ;p That's all~

I love reading signatures. It's not the first thing I notice (the first is always avatar), but...somehow signatures often make me pay attention to people they belong to.

I try and look at some of the person's deviations when I visit their page or I'm following them. Or if i get watched. not many people do that to me though :P

On the forums, I come on here for a bit of amusement, usually and silly me I often don't think to click on people's profiles that I come across. :S

It makes me feel a bit of a dope when someone I've been talking to looks at my gallery and faves something and until then 9/10 I haven't thought to check theirs first. Before ever using the forum I only ever came across other peoples galleries in searches I made intently and when they faved/commented/watched me, too.

I should take more time to look at others profiles that I come across on the forum.

Occasionally if I see something interesting enough I'll check out all their stuff. As for forumers It's more based on if they entertain me or not.

There is, yes! :dummy:

E.W.Y.L are my initials. I was messing around one day when I changed the E around to a 3. If you say it a certain way, it could almost mean Free Will, which is something I find quite fascinating.

So yeah, two meanings. :la:
