What sort of things do you collect?

:iconnorthgun:
Northgun Featured By Owner Feb 10, 2013
I was just wondering what sort of things other people love to collect. I personally collect coins and have a rather large collection of them. My wife collects pokemon plushies and I got her into collecting coins (she collects mostly toned coins). So what do ya collect?

Hats

Seriously if I had the money I would just randomly buy hats

and not just baseball/trucker ones..more like the cabbie hats and the fedoras that don't have the tiny brims on them. My head's too big for the more available ones anyway.

I used to collect insects like crickets and grasshoppers when I was in elementary. There's just something about them I find intriguing... :iconryojidaisyplz:

I know quite a few people that either were or still r into collecting insects. Did u collect em and release them or did u put them in something to preserve them?

Haha, I collect and release. Since I have no interest in preserved specimens. /brick'd
And because I find it much more interesting to observe them alive, moving, eating, interacting and whatnot.

As a kid I collected legos and tech decks haha but now, since I am a professional photographer, I collect vintage cameras. It is good to remember how it all started

My neighbor collects a ton of vintage cameras and has tried numerous times to get me into the hobby. I do find vintage cameras awesome. The local camera shop here has a display of vintage cameras from the owner's collection. I've taken a stroll through his display many times (just wish he'd start carrying new equipment I need lol). Anyway is there a certain brand or type u collect in vintage cameras? Do u still have your lego collection and tech deck collection?

I collect Air Force coins. Coins are kind of like minor achievements here, and they can be bought as well. Collecting them became a new passion of mine after joining.

My cousin started collecting those coins from the airforce as well when he joined. They are really nice coins, everytime he gets a new one he always beings it with him when he comes to visit.

collecting teddy bears is not lame at all. In fact it is more widespread that u thing. The hobby can get quite expensive too if u get into the extremely collectible bears.

That sounds wonderful!

And yes, currently I have two dragon clocks. One of them is quite big. It's a black clock with a green dragon on top, with its tail curling around the entire clock. That's also my favourite. I happened to find a picture on google:

The second one is much smaller, and unfortunately I couldn't find a picture.

I can't find them often, but April 20th I'm going to a fantasy fair, I hope to find some nice dragons there ^^
Beginning of the summer there'll be an event in town with all kinds of attractions, and tents where you can win dragons sometimes, last year I didn't have much luck, but the year before that I could buy a really cool armoured dragon statue. I hope I'll have some luck this year :)

...and if I somehow find them anywhere else, I'll most likely buy them ;)

a few cities in Michigan have shops that carry a ton of dragon items. Frankenmuth and Machinaw City both have a few shops that carry them year round.
