Snow is pretty, but it's a pain in the ass, and the fun things that come with it (like snow forts, sledding, etc.) take more effort when you're in your twenties, and actually have to travel yourself to the sled hill, and find someone to go with you. Rain, on the other hand, provides instant comfort. You can sit on your ass at home, and no bed feels more relaxing, no music more peaceful, no coffee or snack more tasty, than when it's pouring buckets outside.
A few years ago, it snowed here (for the first time history few say...) and I was in my classroom in school. Our math teacher went out and locked us 40 some students in there, staring out the windows, until it stopped snowing. >_> We planned to assassinate him the other day but we forgot to bring ammo for our bazookas.
Ugh, I just had a huge snowstorm and there was snow almost up to my knees. When I played in the snow, my brother kept putting snow down the back of my jacket and I was so cold I had to go inside for a while. So, I guess rain.
Yikes! I can definitely see why you would pick rain! I haven't been having the best experiences with snow either. After a week of snow still being on the ground, another few inches is coming again tomorrow, not to mention the amount of times I've slipped on the ice lol
