The Loudest Thing Around

:icondtkinetic:
DTKinetic Featured By Owner Jan 17, 2013  Hobbyist Digital Artist
For you, what is the loudest, noisiest, most silence disrupting thing around? :X

For me it's either my mom's singing or my dad's saxophone  What about you?

So every Friday-Saturday night is a living hell.

My dad when he's watching football. Augh! You don't need to jump off the couch and run around the house yelling when a guy makes a touchdown!

Then their fire alarms.

I've come up with another silence-disrupting sound! The most disruptive sound ever, in fact. That would be a volcanic eruption near Krakatau Island, Indonesia. In fact, the one that went off back in 1883 produced the loudest sound ever heard by human ears. Sounds don't get more disruptive than that.

Usually my upstairs neighbor playing the same thing on the piano over and over (or on the violin or the flute all of which get equally on my nervs), during the night my downstairs neighbors toddler...
Atm it's my cockatiel trying to woo his toy by whistling at it :D

Singing. Nothing irritates me more than people who sing for no reason whatsoever, especially if they aren't even aware they're doing it.

This is why I'm not too fond of Disney movies or bards in Skyrim.

In addition, I find myself completely incapable of reading a story if I hear music. It's like all my literacy vanishes into thin air.

Likewise. I wish the people who do sing would at least be conscious/considerate of the other people around them, only situation I'd sing out loud is if I knew no one was around for multiple reasons.

What's even more annoying is that I used to live with one. My sister used to be such a person. She'd sing nonstop and most of the time she didn't even notice.

She doesn't do it nearly as much anymore. Plus, I've moved out.

I live on a main road that's only a short distance away from a hospital, so for me it's ambulances. I usually get like two or three going down the road a day blaring their sirens, and it's really annoying when I'm trying to focus on something...

My mom has a friend who lives in a downtown apartment right next door from the hospital that has a helipad :XD: So she very often hears the helicopter propellers taking off.
