I read this question around the end of 2012. This is the question.
When was the last time you tried something for the first time?
I have desided to a make it a goal to try, do, something new or go somewhere new every week this year.
The first two weeks nothing great but I have been trying fruits I have never tried before pirsimones, dragon fruit star fruit. So far they have all been very good. This summer I hope to go hot air ballooning.
Your turn

Just hours earlier I tried a drink I had never tried before.
Quite an achievement, because I do not like leaving what I know to work at all (especially when there's no need to) and trying anything new that I have to taste might be the worst of it.
So I am proud of m'self.

I know alot of people exactly the same. Married one. Well I want variety and am now trying new things, if I don't like it I can throw it out. My husband is trying new stuff to and we are finding alot of the stuff we have never tried to be really good. And a few things that were okay and we could live without. My advice is to keep trying new thing even if it is just once a month, you may find some wonderful things out there

It happens to me all the time, but they're more like little things: try to avoid using the internet in the morning; experiment with my coffee.
But for the really big things, it's been 8 months. Unfortunately, my life never stays in the same place so I'll like to try not moving for not.

The small thing can bring alot of joy to your life. I grew up with a Dad in the army. We didn't move much but since every one I knew were armybrats I never had a friend for more than 3 years, I now live in a town where the average family here has 4 generations still living here. We are not planning to move again so I now could have friendships that last longer than 3 years.

Sigh, it must be nice. I see moving as a hard reset of your lifestyle. My life have been hard-reset 9 times and I'm tired. I can't wait for the day when I can call a place my home.

It tickles me that you've never tried starfruits because it's common here. But then again, whenever I could get some strawberries which are as sweet as the ones I ate in the USA, I'll jump up to the moon xD

Several good fruits you might've not heard of from hereabouts: water apple, pulasan and rambutan. And someday you might take a trip to the tropics and try all of the different sorts of bananas :)

I'll have to look for those friuts. As far as strawberies go the very best are wild strawberries they are tiny but have so much flavour

Amazing :o I prefer pulasan to rambutan though. It's about the same but the obvious difference is that pulasan looks more like a spiky ball toy for kids. Is it easily available there?

Well the last time I tried to have a completely friendly relationship with a "friend with benefits" and it turned out to be one of the best thing ever (so far). I had a FWB before, but I didn't really like him that much, but for this one... it's the first time I felt good about it, I suppose? It's rich coming from a woman, but I never though that it'd feel this good. It's a good balance between one night stand and a committed relationship I suppose.

I dissected a crab five hours ago, for the first time. Now, I would never eat sea food nor look at crustaceans the same way again....

Good question. I tried to make a CSS journal a few days ago. Utter disaster. Next week, I am going to learn datastage. Nothing epic, but small things here and there. :)

Not really. The parts are at Autozone. All you have to do is jack the car up and take the tire off. I watched a video online first.

Last year I got a job...that is, a real job (those months I did the paper run years earlier don't count, nor does the two days of terribly-organized catering services)

And that's probably it. New things scare me :bucktooth:

Hm... today I did something new. I checked to see if this guy who looked dead was dead or not. He wasn't dead, so yeah, good things. I've also watched a movie I've never seen before, it was a terrible movie. I also did an exam on the Environment and Society, so that is also something new. Lets see, I played a new DLC for Borderlands 2 and I think that's about it. So there, four new things in one day.
