I've been to it when I was really little, I think four? I remember eating a vanilla covered chocolate ice cream shaped like Mickey Mouse's head. It was all over my mouth. Then, when it got darker we watched the fireworks.
For some reason I keep thinking I went on a ride with a train that rode around a little mountain and waterfalls. Oh, and a boat ride with dinosaurs. Passing that place, I remember looking back and seeing a giant man sitting on an edge of the cave. (I might have also got my first dinosaur toy from Disney world, too, unless that was just from traveling to some places.)
I've been to the one just outside Paris. I loved it as much as my parents hated it - I'm not sure I would today, though; I don't have time for children's activities until I get some myself, and it should be close to impossible to get a decent drink.
Seriously there is like a Disneyland in every continent except Australia All of our amusement parks pale in size and grandeur to Disneyland, and I would even say only 3-4 of them are any good (and all located in the one city, so tough luck for anyone living anywhere else in this country, they're all in the same damn spot ) The rest located in other areas are pretty crappy, but that won't stop them charging you $35 for admission, or waiting the same amount in minutes in line to go on the rides
You can't live in the LA area of California without going to Disneyland. We went plenty when in high school just to troll for guys. They have private parties there starting around 7 pm and they kick all the day's customers out. Then when they make sure everyone is out they let the party people in. Well a GF and me jumped a fence and climbed a tree to hide and wait for the sweep to end and the new people to come in. They had security walking by but we were pretty quiet so they never saw us. When we noticed the party people arriving in our area we started to get down and heard a noise above us. A couple of guys were above us in the tree but we never saw or heard them until then. So all 4 of us jumped the fence back into New Orleans Square and acted like nothing happened. We all hung out for the rest of the night, riding the attractions for free.
I went to Disneyland paris with my school friends on a school trip in France - and to put it simply it was the one of the best days out Ive ever had. Theres just so much to do there - you can spend a week there and still have stuff to do!
