Can good money be made from Digital Art?

And if so, does anyone have any success stories they know of?

I don't know if the pay is "good" but it is probably enough to live on.
'Good money'? I doubt it.

There's a bell curve. Really good and really crap jobs are paid very badly. I suspect that Digital Artists fall into the former category.
Sure, there's always ways to make money with anything. ... I just don't know how here.

I guess you can make money if you work for a big movie studio editing movies, for a magazine or as a website designer

However, just like an average Joe Artist you won't get very far. Besides digital art gets stolen all the time

There is no way to effectively protect a digital image, they can be easily copied and edited

Isn't that what graphic artist do all the time (I'm not one). They usually compose work on programs like photoshop and sell it to businesses or individuals-i.e. logos, product designs, etc.
Oh yeah i suppose.

What about very good drawings? Can they be put into real life galleries from programs like Photoshops? or isn't that possible.

They can print it, I suppose.

Every Tattoo artist? Easy money if you got skill.
I mean like, say someone drew something really good on Photoshop and decided to try and sell it. Is that possible? Or is it very rare?
