The Scarecrow got palmed off with a few words of encouragement. The Cowardly Lion got palmed off with a a 'testimonial' and the tin man got palmed off with his cheap heart shaped clock thing.

All the time. Many moments in my life I have been offered small rewards to shut up or go away. I guess it's partially my fault for accepting that each time, but if people don't want me around anyway I might as well get something out of it
