The best thing that happened last year was definitely when I found someone that loves me and I love back. :happycry: Okay basically, I got a boyfriend. :meow:

Other than that it's been a totally fucked-up depressing year for me, if it weren't for him, I have no idea what would've happened to me. :o

Finding out I have a mental illness was actually the best thing that happened to me, because I finally got help and now I'm doing much, much better.

Getting my driver's license, getting my first real date in since my topsy turvey first relationship, getting a job I like and can do decently, signing the lease to my first apartment, my sister getting her offer for a salaried job for the first time, my other sister getting accepted into colleges, our cat being cuter than she's ever been in her last sixteen years of life, getting my first job offer for a salaried job in my field (though I was fired before training finished)...

DUDE, you have "Hellsing" in your avatar! Hellsing rocks!

Yes, I was OBSESSED with Hellsing when I first joined dA. I still like Hellsing, but not as much as I used to. XD

I don't know who Master Chief is (unless it's a nickname for a "Hellsing" character that I haven't heard yet), so I'll take your word for it.

Best moment is probably not much... I lead a very happy life in general. Perhaps my trip to Bangkok with one of my best friends. We had so much fun!

Amazing... perhaps the best city for food, drinking and shopping. I vow to go there again!! And it's not really like what they show in Hangover 2, either. It's clean and not that sleazy. The clubs are popping!

Yeah, after seeing an episode "Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations" on it on the Travel Channel, I'm smitten on going there someday....
Next to Tokyo, Moscow, Berlin, Venice, and Rio de Janeiro. XD

Anthony has to be one of the funniest guys I've ever seen. I would to one day just bump into him at a bar and sit down, have a beer, and just talk.

Plenty. Trip to Brighton Burn up, leaving school, getting a job, first "proper" wheelie, finishing dealing with quite a few problems that stuck with me since 2011 and few life changing decisions.
Life is good when you enjoy little things.

Getting my first job was one for me...Yeah, I was late to that, blame a lack of confidence and fear of social situations :paranoid: Even now I can't help but feel incompetent at my job and I don't think many people like me that much. My brother (who also works there) told me that some people have even said I was hopeless :hmm: But hey - I haven't been fired or gotten "the talk" yet, so I can't be that bad :dummy:

It's sucks the people don't like you, where do you work anyway?

I work at a local club, that offers gambling, drinking, a restaurant an sometimes entertainment. It's a good working environment and most people are nice to me...at least to my face anyway, But I think there is a handful that thinks I'm hopeless at it :hmm:

I suppose I've complained about him to fellow employees once :XD: He's my brother but a bit of a douche. The sad part is he wasn't always that way. A couple of years ago he was more like a best friend. Then he got a girlfriend, spent a year with her, got his heart broken and developed this hard shelled "I don't care" attitude, and then kept it even once getting over it because it seemed to work

Well, he has a point. Heartbreaks and pain really can alter a person's personality. I feel different now than I did before due to heartbreaks. You haven't had that chance yet...

I don't need my heart broken to feel jaded and resentful towards the world. I've been like that the moment I went from kid to teenager =p

Well.... in that case, a heartbreak might just be what you need to be jaded instead of just feeling it. =p

I got married, bought a house, got my concealed carry weapons permit, bought an AR-15 with holographic sight, got a $2/hour raise and a promotion, and my team made the playoffs.

On the other hand, we found out my father has terminal brain cancer. Yeah.

Oh.... sorry about your dad. My grandpa was diagnosed with brain cancer a few months ago. He's been up and down ever since.

Other than that, congratulations on your marriage and your house! What variant is your AR? And did you make any other modifications to it?

Thanks for your support. I have the M&P Smith and Wesson in 5.56. It came with a rear MBUS sight and top picatinny rail, but it has the A2 front sight. No dust cover or forward assist, either. I put a Eotech holographic weapon sight on it and sighted in at 500 yards. I was thinking about getting a bad lever and replacing the front sight with an MBUS, but I haven't gotten around to that yet. How about you?
