Straight Razor Accessories

My boyfriend just got a straight razor so for Christmas I want to get him the accessories for it. The brush and some shaving cream, but the real stuff not something cheap that comes out foamy from a can.
I just don't know what a good brand would be, or anything like that. I don't want to get ones that are too expensive either, because he would be upset if he knew I spent a bunch of money on him. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

I usually end up with razor burn, but then I tried several of their products and had great results. I got a bunch of free test packets from Macy's to try it out. The pre-shave oil, shaving cream, and aftershave balm combos work perfectly. I used the unscented ones, but they come in a bunch of different scents too. They pretty much sell everything you need.

Salty Warrior is a good brand.

Why not ask shaving enthusiasts on a forum about shaving, like badgerandblade.com?

He bought himself a straight razor, and I know he's the kind of guy that likes authentic stuff like that.
