Where in the world is this story?! Help?

Okay so someone on deviantart was writing a story about a guy named Jericho (I think). He was NOT the Teen Titans character. I remember that he had some kind of chip or something to change peoples emotions or behavior (something along those lines). He hadn't known about it until recently and I remember that his Dad was dead and his mom took care of him and his little brother. He falls in love with an older girl aaaaand I can't really remember anymore of the specifics. I'd really like to read the rest of it but I simply cannot find it/remember the proper title/remember the author's username.
