What is your opinion on Google?

:iconmaskedguardian:
This has been something I've been thinking about for a while, and I want to get people's opinions on it. No further description really needed, I just want your thoughts on Google, and whether or not you like it.

Google can collect information on anyone and sell it to anyone. I think they're kinda evil. Despite saying "dont be evil". this is one of the reasons I use firefox rather than chrome.

I use it pretty much daily. Other search engines are too cluttered for me.
Plus, google doodles! :la:

I use Google everyday. Whether for searching or as a spell check.

Their motto is don't be evil and they have self-driving cars.

It's like if a T-1000 walked up to you as a kitty and asked you to pet him.

They started out as a search engine and now they're investing in space technology and medical applications.

Other than that, I love the functionality of Chrome and Google.com's never done me wrong, even though Bing has more relevant results that aren't plagued by corporate fuckery. For an example, google up "Japanese LIP Windows 7 Home users" and you'll get 2 pages full of links to Microsoft forums and websites telling you LIPs and MUIs are only for WIN7Ultimate users and you need to pay $300 for it. Page three, however, has a program called Visualizer and many blogs and how-to's pointing to this program, which does exactly what you'd have to pay $300 to do otherwise:
Type like this. フンブ戸井。 ヅ亜得憂いオア。
That function is built into all versions of windows. Every language is already there. They just want you to pay $300 to use it. This program does it for free. This program is buried under 60 Microsoft certified results.

That is literally my only complain with google. You can pay a firm or a very bored person to set up an array and have your result at the top of the page, so that when people look up "Ham" they get Tyson. Fuckery of the highest degree.

Google has the best level of un-filtering for image searches. Search for practically anything and you'll get a mountain of porn.
