I actually had to rehome my parrot today, I can't stop crying about it. it's so weird not hearing his constant chattering and whistling and having nothing to whistle back to, and having noone to share my dinner with. I can't even stand looking at his empty cage, but i can't bring myself to dismantle it yet either >_<
My iguana, his name is Zilla and hes a little older than 2 years old I also have many fish but my little princess if Rami, a blue gourami. I;ve had her for more than three years and I'm afraid she's getting old...
Oh crap, I can't believe I forgot to mention my tropical aquarium too it's right there in my room and really relaxing to look at at night. Even though it's a freshwater aquarium, I set it up using fake corals and anemones so it looks like a saltwater coral reef
For many years I wanted a parrot. Then only months ago a fully-trained one that must have gotten lost literally landed on my shoulder when I was outside watering the gardens. It was so cool, a free pet parrot worth anywhere between $200 to $400 in most local pet stores literally came to me for free Too bad it happened too late. I couldn't keep it because we have a cat now that spent every day trying to get to our last bird (a boring budgerigar that was given to us - it wasn't trained or anything so it spent all its time doing nothing but sit in that cage ) I was considering keeping this parrot anyway, and just making sure it's never alone in the same room as our cat. But that sounded like too much work - as well as the millions of other care tips I read up about these parrots. Sounded like too much maintenance (and noise... I'm telling you now, this thing could SCREECH! )
But that's OK because I love my kitty cat more anyway. She's surprisingly social and affectionate for a cat. It's also the first cat I've had in over a decade (we've only had her sine February) so she's really special to me
I vote parrot that wakes up neighbors without earplugs.
