So, I'm in great need of knowledge ^^ I need to finish my history essay for these holidays, and I'm kinda lost in the awful explanations of my book...
So, the question is: it says that there were three original human races in the world, mongoloids on the east, negroids from Africa and the caucasians or the mountain people (the white humans), but I don't understand how that overlaps with the homo sapiens, homo erectus and such...
were they sub-groups of the sapiens or another hominid?
I'm completely lost :shrug:

oh, and it says that there was fourth kind :O is that correct? the books are pretty old and I don't wan't to rely on the wiki anymore... it says shit sometimes.

I believe the fourth might be the Aboriginals, since they're essentially separate from all other branches of the human race.

All humans that live today are part of the homo sapiens.

The three races are sub-groups of homo sapiens. Homo erectus was the species that the reptoids genetically altered to create homo sapiens.

The fourth race lives underground. Their realm can be accessed through a large hole in antarctica that is airbrushed out of satellite images by the CIA. They have flying saucers and are the guardians of ancient machinery left behind by the reptoids.

You don't want to rely on wiki, yet post in the forums hoping for a decent answer. I'd say you have a better chance with Wikipedia. :I
