Piercing suggestions?

Hello deviantART and all who inhabit it :D. I've seem to have come down with what I like to call "piercing block." Maybe you guys could give me some unique (or not, I don't care as long as it's a piercing) ideas. It's been about 5 months since my last piercing, and I'm starting to experience withdrawals :lmao:.

As a point of reference, here's a list of the piercings I've collected so far:

:bulletblue: Left eyebrow
:bulletblue: Bridge (nose)
:bulletblue: Septum
:bulletblue: Right nostril
:bulletblue: Medusa (top lip)
:bulletblue: Labret
:bulletblue: Tongue
:bulletblue: Bellybutton
:bulletblue: Left 00g earlobe
:bulletblue: Left 0g earlobe
:bulletblue: Left helix (cartilage)
:bulletblue: Right 20g earlobe
:bulletblue: Right 2g earlobe
:bulletblue: Right lower-middle ear (cartilage)
:bulletblue: Right upper-middle ear (cartilage)
:bulletblue: Nipples
:bulletblue: "Downstairs"

I know I eventually want an industrial, anti-industrial and tragus, but my right ear cartilage is still sore from piercing it about 3 months ago, so I'd rather wait until it heals completely before I pierce anymore on my ears--damn cartilage taking so long to heal! Grrr.
I have so many, every piercing I've been able to find online all seem ordinary, but that's probably just me. Keep in mind, I don't wanna look like some extreme freak with chains and 00g nostrils, 'cause that's just gross, but I would like some unique ideas if anyone can offer me any. I also don't really like "double piercings" (ex. both eyebrows/more than 1 eyebrow piercing).

Oh, and, here's a little bonus question: what's your opinion on piercings/tattoos? Do you have any? What's your favorite/least favorite? Commence commenting!

Microdermals? I really want a pair on my collarbones, but I want to get a few more piercings and do as much research as possible before I consider going through with it.

I'd also suggest the smiley but it seems like it's bound to reject. Cheek/dimple piercings also look nice on certain types of faces.

Hahah, I have already. Got bored one night, had to pee, and just decided wth, why not? That's what I meant by "downstairs..." I just didn't wanna say clit. :lmao:

Just curious, does that make it feel better or different at all?

It really depends on what kind of jewelry I wear. If it's a straight or curved barbell, it really does make it better. If it's a captive bead or horseshoe, it does, but straight/curved I think's better (plus they don't get twisted like the rings, which isn't pleasant), but that might just be me, or maybe because mine's pierced vertically, so it goes under the hood and lays directly on my clit. I've got a couple friends who have there's pierced horizontally, so it just lays on top, and they say they don't get much out of it. Besides my ear, it's probably my favorite piercing... or obvious reasons, mwahahah.

Yup... though, I can now see how guys feel when their penis gets caught in their fly. It's not very pleasant at all.

That's why ya wear boxers. Enough material to insulate the most important part of the male anatomy. =p

What about implants - the raised sort of piercings?

I used to be crazy about piercings... I pierced my eyebrow, I had the "monroe", I pierced my ears "industrial". They're gone now since I am trying to be all professional for a future job in corporate world. I have a huge tattoo of a dragon on my back shoulder. I think tattoos when done very well, are tasteful. I think piercings are incredibly hot. I plan to get my nipples pierced, though not right now as I am going to travel and I don't wanna set off the metal detector or hurt my nipples if they're not healed properly.. but yes, I do plan to get that done some day. Also belly piercing sometime soon. :)

I don't like it when people have "small" tattoos. I think they're tacky and "useless". A random butterfly the size of a coin at the tramp stamp area = gross, and thoughtless... but that's my opinion. It's like having a tattoo so small because you can't handle the pain of getting something bigger. Mine took like 4 hours straight to get it done. Those little ones take like 15 minutes... pfft.

Microdermals? I've been thinking about it. Sometimes it's hard for me to heal, and sometimes it's not, so I really don't know which way it'd go. There is a kit to do them with for $20 that I'd like to have... I'll get around to ordering it some day :P. I've been wanting 3 on each temple, and one on my forehead between my eyebrows.

That's the only thing I hate about piercings/tattoos. I got laid off almost 2 years ago, and haven't been able to get a job, and I think that's some of the reason. I take my piercings out and cover the scars makeup the best I can. If I could do something about the big holes in my ears, which is what I think prompts people to start looking for more holes, I might've had a job by now, because all my tattoos can be hidden. I just wish it was more accepted than it is. Oh, well, can't work while carrying twins anyway. Might as well enjoy it, huh?

Always thought about getting a monroe on the left side, but I have a "beauty mark" on the right, and thought it'd look kinda funny :/. I've not been on a plane since I've had any of my piercings (besides just plain ear piercings), but I have been through detectors at the courthouse, and they've never went off on me. Not sure if that's all detectors, though (for some reason I'd think airport detectors would be sensitive to every kind of metal)???
My nipples were the last thing I had pierced, about 5 and a half months ago. I thought it'd hurt so I had my husband do it. He done the first one, and it really didn't hurt. One of the least discomforting ones I've had, actually, so I ended up doing the second. They healed in about 2 and a half weeks, which I really didn't expect. My bellybutton was the worst for healing because of irritation from my pants and sweating.

I agree with the tattoo thing. One thing I hate to see are people walking around with tattoos all over them that're all faded/blurry, and this is what I've seen come outta shops after just a few years. I had a friend get a tribal tat in black, and not even a year later, it looked dull, and looked like it had a greenish tint to it where it had faded so badly.
Not once have I had a piercing or tattoo done in a shop. All of mine have either been done by myself or my husband at home or wherever we happen to be at the time, and neither of us have had any major problem or fading. I'd rather do them myself than go to a shop.

I have 5 tattoos so far, and the smallest is a tribal phoenix, which's the size of my whole hand.
I never seen why people bother getting ones that're so small either. I just don't get why you'd pay for it? I mean, I don't see how small, random things like that can have significant meaning (of course, not all), and I think if you're gonna get one, it should have some kinda meaning, and actually be worth paying for and getting at least. :) I've had so many holes and inks, I'm practically immune to the "pain..." thought it never did what you'd call "hurt."

As soon as we can get up the extra money to get a new gun and some ink, I'm gonna get my back covered with an Angel of Death. The picture I found is a grim reaper with wings, 2 scythes and a spell book. "Angel of Death" was my husband's nickname in high school, so I was gonna get it for him. I just don't know how much ink we'd need. Hmmm.
