What if you awoke to find yourself trapped in a realm where dreams and reality merge flawlessly, to the point where you cant even tell them apart? You're somewhat 'immortal' and can do whatever you desire, but can't leave the realm unless you find a way to escape.

In this realm you're subjected to the most horrendous horrors and images you can imagine, and they all attack you. Each time you 'die' in the realm, your soul gets devoured by me and sent into descend down into another dimension within the Soulception realm, until you reach the bottom.

How did you get there? What horrors do you see? How do you escape? If you'd choose to stay, what would you do?

I'm the one collecting & trapping the souls in Soulception. If you can't escape on your own, you can opt out by bribing me with food offerings, or by telling me your most epic/hilarious escape attempts in exchange for freedom.

Bonus points for hilarious stuff.

Why would I want to escape? Being Immortal?, check. Pretty much visiting hell?, check. Heh, you're pretty much asking me to figure out of a way out of my bucketlist.

So, I would have a semi-dead mind? Hmm... I guess a sort of "Two-Face" effect would occur where I have a good subconscious and a bad one. So if it does 'grim reaper' itself then I'd become my own worst enemy ONLY when I am not fully aware.

I was in the subway. I heard something in a small corner, and when I went there I was suddenly in a worn bed in your cavernous, yet sometimes gorgeous (with a crystal's light) world.

I escaped by defeating the horrors of the world. I took a staff that had been there just lying there on the ground, and I just took it. I swung at the hordes, leaving behind trailing rainbow swirls. The horrors were all erased at the trail of the golden staff, leaving behind magic that prepared for my journey into another soulception. The most horrendous horrors? Why deformed children and penises of course! And cephalopods. Ugh. And TV new anchors. Such square jaws, they are inhuman features.

If I chose to stay, I would have hid in a tunnel of the cave and explored a bit later.
