I got a simple blue spiral tattood onto the front of my left shoulder. I thought it was a nice unique but beautiful spot. Blue because the ancient picts & celts used woad (a blue dye) and painted spirals all over their bodies... I thought that might be a small homage to that link in my ancestry.
Also got quite a large tattoo of the Auryn (the medallion in the NeverEnding Story) on my back between my shoulder blades, well... just because I am a massive geek.
Definitely not a mistake. I took too many years (like... 10 years) deciding what I wanted. I figured if I hit 30 and still wanted them... it wouldn't be a youthful impulse.
I'm 23 and I'd still like one but I'm still undecided about what. I don't want to do anything on impulse because I AM the type to regret it later if it's not exactly what I want...

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
