For those who are suscribed, why did you? Was it because of the ads? Had extra money? Thought it would increase your traffic? (I've been wondering about that...has anyone seen an increase in site traffic once they suscribed? I'm not talking about adCast).
The fisrt time I subscribed, I had bought it myself. Now, I'm running on 18 months that I had won in a contest. Personally, I consider the money well spent just to have the Message Center and DevWatch features.

Hey, everybody! CHECK OUT THE NEW RELIGION FORUM! HUZZAH!
~r-u-done bought me a subscription years ago, and I have never been able to go back. Mostly I can't handle not being able to read comments in my message center. That alone is worth it.
I haven't in all the time I've been here, simply because I don't really want to. My account works perfectly well without it, so why bother paying for a few extra features?

If you can't catch a wave then you'll never ride it.
If you can't be a good example, you might as well be a horrible warning.
So anyways, what motivated you to suscribe?
