When Novi travels back in time and visits her parents, they think "Wow, a free babysitter. Vacation time!"

Novi: I can't take care of myself! I'll be erased from spacetime!
Novi's Mom: It just takes some discipline.
Novi: You never taught me discipline!
Novi's Mom: Well now is a good time to learn. Teach it to yourself while you're at it, okay? Bye!

They probably wouldn't be that awful in person, but in her dreams yeah. Not that she's any better, visiting her parents in the past just to screw with their heads :trollface:

I think their family is built on pretend-hate, neglect, and self-deprecation. But they're good-natured about it :dummy:
