I've been a member of Deviantart for a really long time, and I rarely get any comments, views, and/or watchers. To be honest, it is really depressing since I would love art to be my career. Spending so much time on your art and having it barely looked at is really upsetting and a blow to the art ego. I really don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice.

I'm sorry if I seem silly and whiny, I'm just really put down that I rarely get any views or anything like that. I just want to know what/or if I'm doing anything wrong. If any of you have any advice for me it would be really helpful.

You can try and make a post at the Welcome Center, or you can post your artwork in the Thumbshare Forum. Or, you can just be more active on the forums, so more people will notice you!

You get out only what you put into the community. Posting in the forums and commenting on the artwork of others on dA are great ways to start. There is even a ThumbShare Forum if you want to promote your gallery. :)
