The purpose of this project is to create a metropolis of isometric pixel-art, consisting of 49 squares (248*248 pixels each, template available here).
Rules/guidelines for participating
- You must use the template provided by ~pixel-metropolis.
- Your contribution must be isometric.
- All basic lines must be of a 1:2 pixel ratio (leading to an angle of approx. 26.565 degrees) like the template provided by ~pixel-metropolis.
- There will only be ONE square (248*248 pixels) per person, so use it wisely.
- The content of your square must have the same scale as the rest of the town (have a look at the ones allready submited, which have been placed here as a temporary solution).
- You can only use pixel-art you have created yourself.
- Obey the deviantART Terms of Service and Etiquette Policy.
- You may place your avatar in your contribution as long as it is a character fitting the scale of the rest of the town.
- Your contribution may (but doesn't have to) be animated. Max 10 frames with 0,1 sec duration.
How to join the collaboration
- First, send an empty note to pixel-metropolis with the subject "Join!". Your gallery will be looked through, and if I like your work, you will recieve a note.
- If you are accepted, you must add pixel-metropolis to your watch list and put our stamp in your journal (if you don't have a subscription, use : deviconpixel-metropolis : without the spaces, which will show our avatar).
How to submit
- Note: You must be a member before you can submit anything to us
- First you upload it to your gallery like you would with any of your other artwork. Put this line: "Submission for the ~pixel-metropolis project" together with any of your other comments in Artist's Comment.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
