There is music intended for listening...music that allows those hearing it to dream up whatever story they wish to go along with the ebb and flow of timbre and melodic phrase.
This is "Story Music".
As such, it is freely available on the net, but I'd like to see if any aspiring young poet/writers and artist/deviants might be interested in an ongoing project where art and spoken word are mingled with music to make something more. An emotional presentation of words, art and music that moves forward to show the viewer a story they may not have thought of.
If you are interested in contributing art in any form, poetry or writing (perhaps you have a story of your own) they will be included in a transient filmstrip-type format running over music. You may hear the music in advance both to decide if you are interested and to see if you can envision something that you might enjoy sharing with the viewers. Any ideas and feedback are welcome!
Add your art to others and see if the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
Here are some music samples you could be helping craft a story for:

These projects are still ongoing, have been a great deal of fun and the old pages have been moved into my blog.
Sorry for the deadlinks.
Take a listen to some of the music ([link]) and read its tagline, then see if you can envision a scene that fits the music and tagline. If the music moves you and you create something youre proud of, let me know! Ill link to it, promote it and generally crow about what youve created.
Build your art with mine.
Whats that? You have artwork already? Does it emote? Evoke emotion? Would you like a short theme written for it?
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
