Hey there, I'm the project director for HealthyInsanity . com ( [link] ) and I have a ton of writers here [link] and here [link] who need artists to work with! While I do have more commission artists than you can shake a stick at here: [link] it's now time to hunt down some artists willing to draw comics in a collabo, even if it's just a single page or comic strip, for these new ones to writing who are unsure but want to get started.

The main requirement to post here is that you're willing to do at least one piece free. If you want to charge for further work that's one thing, but this isn't for commissions. If you only do commissions, then go to the other thread here: [link]

It's time to kick this thread up a notch, so I'm going to do something unusual.

Most people offer free requests on a first come, first serve basis... but I don't want this to become a thread of people just mooching artwork. I want people who are very interested in telling a good story get some help to get started here. So these free requests will not be by a first come, first serve basis; they will be by first to produce well basis.

Your job to "pay" for this "commission" is to write a story. Half page to full page. It is either the background or intro for your character, or about the scene I am drawing if that is what you request. I'm only offering three of these today.

What is a half page to full page? I'm your new English teacher and I'm going to be able to tell the difference between an honest amateur writer who truly wants to write and some one that just wants free artwork. It's not about counting words or checking grammar, it's about a sincere effort to tell a story.

Use these requests to help get your larger project started, please. Your entry and my art will be displayed either in the forum or a new place inside the Doujinshi index so interested artists can find you, your work and hopefull you can all make things work out and produce comics!

And no, no piece I create for you may not be entered in the Healthy Insanity Original Avatar contest.

If anyone needs some art. I have alot of free time now and I'm looking for a good project. I'm pretty open and can do most things in most styles. (no manga though I'm crap at manga)

ummm okay im free to draw some peoples original characters or comic ideas...... i want to better myself as an artist ^-^ the first couple will be for free and then im considering doing these for a subsciption to deviantart

im also okay at writing stories if that would help anyone :P
qualifications:
A/C for english gcse- A for writing
A for graphics gcse
B for art gcse

currently doing national diploma in multimedia design (character design, animation ect)
