I've started a thread for artists looking to draw comics, and I was wondering how many writers out there wanted to create their own comics but needed commission help?
I have a project in mind, details are in my journal, but I'll spare that for now. It's not official launch time yet.
Well this thread is more for people who want to make them rather than people just accepting commissions, that's what the other thread you replied to is for. They are connected, I'm trying to connect writers to artists with this thread. Get the writers here and show them the artists, and then show the artists in the other thread this thread full of writers ^_^;;
Nah I stay off messenger services. Your gallery isn't bad, but you're just starting out as an artist. Give it some time and watch the thread, I'm sure more people will pop in and you can find someone to work with. I've got quite a list of talent to work with as is ^_^;;
Awesome! If you have some minor spare cash, you can get yourself an artist to work with you to create your own comics, some in my other thread work very inexpensively, some work expensively, it just depends on whatyou want and can afford. If you're on the lower income level, I would write your comic in a a "webcomic" format rather than say, American comic format. Plot and write your story one page at a time, and make every page count. Watch my journal for more details on the project as it gets to launch time.
Your style is fine, your technical detail needs just a little work though, you're almost there but not quite for my personal standards. Now for others, you might be fine. This thread is not intended just for my use for anyone, mainly writers though, who want to create comics. It's not a bad thing artists such as yourself are responding in fact I encourage it. Check out my main thread as well and post there too. I'm trying to encourage people to create their own comics, that's my goal here.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
The Cutting Edge is a weekly article that features brand new selected high quality art products that caught our eyes. Check out the cutting edge prints some of your fellow artists have submitted in the past week!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
