I would like to invite you to join our Alice in Wonderland fan art contest!
The theme of the contest is Alice in Wonderland in general. You are free to send in creations that are inspired by for example Lewis Carroll, John Tenniel, or American McGee, but you are also more than welcome to submit your own totally different interpretations of the books, a character, or perhaps a scene from the stories. As long as it has a link to "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" or "Through the Looking Glass", it can enter the contest!
The categories are:
1) Digital illustrations: creations made on a computer, for example by using Photoshop or a Wacom
2) Non-digital illustrations: creations made by drawing, painting, etc. on paper or canvas, or something the like, which can then be scanned and posted on this forum
3) Photography: digital or scanned photo's of actual objects and/or scenes you set up
4) Stories: written stories, with a maximum of 3000 words
You can submit entries until the 1st of April (no, that's not a joke). Then I will create a poll for each category. All registered members of my forum have 2 weeks to vote for their favorite creation. The entry with the most votes is the winner!
`But who is to give the prizes?' quite a chorus of voices asked.
`Why, SHE, of course,' said the Dodo, pointing to Alice with one finger; and the whole party at once crowded round her, calling out in a confused way, `Prizes! Prizes!'
The winners from each category are allowed to pick one or more items of their own choice from my Alice in Wonderland shop ([link]), up to an amount of $10,-! (not including shipping costs)
* All entries must be your own work and effort
* No 'mature content' or porn entries
* You are free to submit as many creations as you want, in as many categories as you like.
More rules, details, and the place to submit your entries can be found here: [link]

For some reason I do not see links to browse back to older topics...
I am assuming nobody else can see my topic either, so I guess I have to post a reply myself to bring it back in the topic list...
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
