Children's Book Concept.

Hi everyone,

By nature I am a creator, my mind never shuts down, never runs out of ideas.
As I type this I probably have thirty movie concepts, fifteen original television series ides, an endless ammount of stroies I'd love to write for current television shows, and finally my creator owned concepts.

With all of that, I always seem to combe back to two of my creations.
One being my Vampire-esque concept crimson Knights. The other,
a series in the world of Spook Central. No not the one referenced in
Ghostbusters. Spook Central is what the chracters of this world call home,
of Spookville. I have had plans for an entire series of Spook Central spin-offs.
Spook Central high(school) , Spook Central University, and Spook Central Babies.

Here's the thing, even though I begab working on the children's book
pitch, and first draft of the manuscript, I lack motivation to finish it.
I always seem to jump to the next project, and never get anything finished.

So I am looking for help. I need someone to help motivate me, and possibly
be included into my pitch to publishers.

I'm basically looking for somone who can illustrate my characters based
on my manuscript. The problem is that Publishers want to pick their own
artists, but we'll burn that bridge down when we get to it.

The female characters can be found here, I'll upload the male characters at another time.

The concept is that monsters send their kids to school, and the kids learn more from their life's experiences than from school.

Send me a note, or email me at TimTilleyWriterguy@yahoo.com

It's not so much as a job offer, but if someone can help get me
back to working on it again, it may lead to something more thsn
just an idea.

Thanks.

After a few really bad years, my goal of getting Spook Central Elementary published by the end of 2008 has failed on an epic level.

However, I am more than willing to receive any donated fan art, of which any that I do get will be posted on the Facebook and Myspace pages (credited of course).

As for an update, my Ex Fiancée was my writing partner as well and after she left I had to put aside SCE for all of 2010. I am just now starting to work on it again but the entire thirteen book set of manuscripts now need to be rewritten from scratch. I still plan on trying to get the series published one way or another, only now my chances have been severely lowered due to major competition by a very well known toy maker giant, Mattel.

Their series is called Monster High and is similar in concept, only instead of monsters in Elementary School-- they are in High School. I am not sure when it was created but the series just sprang up last year. I am not sure just how bad this will hinder my ability to sell/get my series published but one thing is for sure... it won't be easy.

Below are links to Monster High. I kind of wished that I had billions of dollars at my disposal back when I first came up with my concept, imagine what I could have created with all those funds. Oh and here is an OLD review I did on Monster High.

Well the entire reason for this post was to say thanks to all those who created art for me and I wanted to let everyone know just how much I appreciate it.
I still plan on working on the series and hope that it sees the light of day as the old idiom goes.

All the best,

Tim

I hate the way deviant art does links.
They can be found on my Myspace page.
Age isn't a big deal. I am working with
a woman on a project, she's 18. It's
all aboout being collaborative, and creative.

Aw, your link doesn't work :(

I would hardly call anything I have in my gallery my best work, and it's EXTREMELY unlikely that a sixteen year old would be able to compete for something like this, but because I like a challenge and for the sheer hell of it, I just MIGHT give this a try, if that's okay.

I GOTTA try out for this! I'm gonna work on some conceptual art right away!
