Pink Floyd - Lets get them on the road again

Recently I've had this idea floating around, mainly sourced from the fact that my brother, mum and dad are going to see Dave Gilmour next month, and I'm not. Heres the fact. We all want a Pink Floyd tour, right? There have been thousands of petitions, polls, letters and websites dedicated to getting just that. Trouble is, it doesn't work. I was thinking, if I get enough deviants who want them back, (and I'm sure there are a fair few) we could make a massive artwork or something, with all the names, and send it to Dave. It would be like this massive, colourful uber-petition that he can stick on his wall and go hey.. look how many people love me. Its a bit rough around the edges, but if you have ideas, post here. If you want to take part, post here

I would really appreciate any bursts of inspiration that would make this work..

So whether you love them, or know someone who does, get the message around, and get some ideas flowing. I want this so bad, and I know many of you do too.

no way! if i was the owner of [link] I would not waste it.. in other news.. just got back from Aussie Pink Floyd (THE best Tribute band on the planet) was totally awesome.. I got my tour Tshirt! Its like the DSotM Album cover, only with australia instead of the prism. Awesome.

oh that is really neat....i wish i knew a good pink floyd cover band...there are no good bands here in the middle of no where

Id definitely be in.....funny enough they do midnight shwoings of the wall around here in NYC..Im going to one night and sit and die.

But a floyd tour is so hard. I saw roger waters back in like 2000 and he was amazing doing tons and tons of floyd songs. They were quoted as saying the try and do a floyd tour once every 2 and half years I hope the live 8 show didnt count for anything......
