CONTEST!!! 350 POINT PRIZE
Hi gang, I'm running a Harry Potter themed role play for my boyfriend and my friends and I intend to go all out with it. I'm making wands and text books, I even have quills and I'm aging paper to look like parchment! Neat, huh? I've come up with an entirely different school and four new houses, although I love Hogwarts and am a fiercely loyal Hufflepuff i felt it would be more immersive game if i created a new setting that my players can explore, seeing as Hogwarts secrets have been ousted via the books and movies. Which is where you lovely lot come into play, I'd like an emblem for each house and one for the school. I'd use the emblems for my players' robes, their acceptance letters, decor for special events and for personalized notebooks that each player will be receiving for schoolwork uses. Each player will be getting a starter set (or as I've been lovingly referring to it, First Year's Supplies...) and as you may be able to tell I'm extremely excited to DM this game, and I want it to be as fleshed out as possible.
Now, down to business for those of you who are here for good old fashioned points!!
The school emblem should incorporate the four houses, much like the Hogwarts emblem does and each house emblem should clearly represent the name and the mascot. I was favoring the idea of busts with filigree frames but i leave the artistic license with you capable ladies and gents! The school name and houses are as follows;
The Salem Academy of Witchcraft and Wizardry
House Bearfang - blue and bronze heraldry
House Hawktalon - red and gold heraldry
House Wolfclaw - yellow and pewter heraldry
House Staghorn - green and silver heraldry
The deadline of the contest is Monday November 30th at midnight!!
