Hello,

I am currently designing a Mario game!

This game is being produced by me (Developer, level editor) and "Tortwag" (spriter). So, down to business. We need people to aid us in the game, namely:

-Spriter
-Storyline Writer (we don't really need one, but feel free to join)
-Scripter (Don't know if we need it with this program)

SO this game, Galaxy 3 (working title), will be based on, you guessed it, the wii game "Mario Galaxy". So, there will be a gravity system and planets, with enemies on the planets. Basically 2D Mario Galaxy with a new plot.

PLOT:
N/A

CONCEPT:
You will be able to go to different Galaxies, and in these galaxies, planets which you can walk on, around... There will be a 360° gravity system for the planets, and alot of puzzles.
The combat will be classic, you can jump on enemies, hit them with the spin attack or throw star bits at them.
I just mentioned Star Bits. Yes! You will be able to collect star bits around the levels, and you will be able to use them to buy extra galaxies, and such.

And that's it, I suppose.

The level example doesn't work and gives me error 404 in french, which i cannot read.
Also, maybe I can help with spriting.

Yes, my company has already released several IOS and Android games. I included scriptor for any future 3D projects we may make.

Well, it sounds like the programming department is taken care of. Although I don't see how an extra dimension would require a different kind of programmer. The theory is mostly the same for 2D and 3D games. Good luck with your project, anyways.

I'm afraid not, I've been working on a video game project since May and haven't gotten it even half done yet.

Any video game project that has "Scriptor" as one of the jobs isn't actually a well thought out project. It implies that the develompent kit is going to do most of the game for you.

Have you ever had any programming or software development experience before? Without that kind of experience, it's unlikely that you'll end up with something worth playing.

Sadly, I'm not allowed to say. I didn't make it under this user name. Connecting this user name to the project might cause me trouble in the future, since the art I make here might be disturbing to some people.
