I haven't had to wash dishes in a while, but I don't have time for them. Luckily my dad has helped me out the past few times. Besides, we're rinsers (we rinse off everything right after we use it), so it's never that bad. I just don't have the time before class to do a thorough job.
It's just not typical for most apartments to have dishwasher where I am, but I found out that it's almost natural in the States, even in the tiniest apartments!
At least your belief keeps the electricity use down. I don't like washing up, but I have to do it. In the future, I sure hope to have a dishwasher. Love the squeaky sound the plates make after a good wash.
Well, there's three of us in the house, and we have about six plates of every kind (bowl, small plate, large plate) so we run out pretty quickly. But then just... wash a plate when we need one, instead of doing the whole bunch, until it's too much to handle.
I am entirely desensitized to just about anything, nothing shocks or phases me anymore no matter how foul or violent something is I do not cringe anymore or really get a reaction.... But, washing dishes... Is the only thing in life I CAN'T do it makes me SICK makes me gag makes me want to puke I don't even know why it has such a strong effect on me.
