I'm late to the game, but I got it for Christmas, and I'm discovering all the lovely things you can do with it.

Yes I agree. it's cheap and the interface is nice. granted the full-up versions of photoshop has more features but I used them rarely anyway.
I do like the brush controls better for the full-up version better though.

It's so affordable! I love it.
I only got into digital art in the past few months myself. I like being able to color scanned pencil drawings.
