Me too! My brother thinks bookstores are on the way out (not in the close future, but eventually) and that makes me want to cry! I love to hold a book and take it with me. I like to write in them sometimes, or dog-ear the page, or highlight something that strikes me. Can't do that on a Kindle or Nook.
I find it's easier to read books (with proper lighting, of course) as opposed to stare at a screen. I couldn't imagine attempting to read a novel. Browsing the internet, sure - there's a bunch of different things to look at, and I'm not just focused on text. It still hurts my eyes if I'm on WAY too long or way too late at night. A book? Not so much. c:
I love the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton. I just finished an "Others" novel by Christine Warren. I also love Christian fiction and will start one by Frank Peretti later today. I have a couple by Sherrilyn Kenyon that are next in line too.
