Praise microwave safe dishes!

Honestly it's the small niceties that make things so much better.
My fingers are blistered from being too lazy to wash said niceties and using something not-so-microwave-safe. :(

What things are you thankful for that aren't a big part of your life but are nice things to have?

I saw these Christmas lights today that looked like an array of snowflakes. So beautiful.

Electricity is a huge part of many people's lives, though. Internet, phones, stoplights, lamps. What's something really small?

I can live without it for several weeks. I had to for several occasions (power-outages due to hurricanes, going to my garndmother's house, etc.) To me, it's small compared to plumbing. :B

Ah, okay.
I can't imagine living without electricity.
My whole life is on the computer... :(

I'm not that addicted to computers, TV, and stuff, so I can live without it. ;D

I'm only speaking based on my own experience. I missed plumbing so bad, at least toilets and running faucets. :fear:

I used to think electricity was bigger, but stuff like that made me realize it wasn't as important, because it was more of a commodity than a necessity to me. However, I also know that it's important in many ways, because some things can't function without it and people are screwed because of that dependency. :dead:
