You type in the name of your favorite character in the search bar and up pops hundreds of fan arts featuring him or her. (Possibly doing something that might scar you for life.)


Don't you just love seeing other people loving what you love? Doesn't it make you feel a little less crazy?

It depends on the fandom and what kind of stuff is there on fanart (too much yaoi, not enough het or yuri...or too much of that one character and not enough of the others). That said, being a fan-artist, I'd praise it.

It depends.

Original + creative fanart done by talented people out of genuine love for the series is amazing.

Toddler-esque colored pencil drawings of Naruto are not.

Yes, praise the fan art! I may not be able to draw, but dang it I can and will write! And as for the scarring thing, it's fun to do to other people but even funnier when you go back and review what you've done in the past and you end up making yourself cringe. I've done that plenty of times...
