They're both Abrahamic religions. So is Christianity. All three are going to have a lot of similarities because they're based on the same ideas. Where they differ is largely in whether or not they believe the Messiah has already come and who the more recent prophets are.

Judaism has remained the truest to the ancient beliefs and rituals and has changed the least, Christianity and Islam have seen some pretty radical changes from their origins. Christianity has even gone as far as to develop hundreds of different denominations that all interpret the bible in different ways.

But all three religions possess almost identical teachings on how to treat non-believers and women. It's just a matter of whether the person in front of you belonging to any given Abrahamic religions holds to those teachings. Some do, some don't
