There is no problem with racism in America.
Except when you try and play the race card.
Look, millions of white people voted for Obama.
Millions of people pay good money to see professional sports teams that are mostly black.
Many people are just assholes... what better way to insult you than to get you mad that the person may be racist
I deal with rude and stupid people every day but its not racism
racism is more rare
so why do you whine about it so much?

Every day, I wish to God that I had the ability to punch people through the internet.
You would be the first idiot I'd punch.
You would be the first idiot I'd punch.
You're kidding, right?
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Keep on wiping issues under the rug buddy...but remember, one day it's going to come back and bite you.
You have it wrong.
Nobody is coming for the blacks.
People are coming for the whites, just like you.

I hate to be this...well...frank, but you're delusional. Also, I am not white. I'm brown.

How is it going to come back to bite me, buddy?
Give me one example.

One answer: Ferguson.
The more the anger builds up, the worse the violence that will arise because of it.

So blacks are going to use violence against white people?
No. All people are going to become violent with one another.

SO HOW BOUT THAT NASCAR, EH--? oh, wrong racism, nevermind.
....Not all us NASCAR fans are racist rednecks
oh my fucking god, PLEASE tell me you got the pun and are just playing coy. X_X
wait there was a pun?
You understand that if racism wasn't a problem then there would be no "race card" to pull, right? It's like saying, "You're playing the poor card" or the "mentally disabled card."
No one delegitimizes those struggles because we are aware that those differences actually affect the individual's life. I also find that those who are upset with minorities pulling "the race card" are often the first ones to interject race into a conversation, be it with your shitty ironic race jokes or something about how we should do something about these Mexicans taking our jerbs.

Racism still exists.
Oh, please.
Racism is one of the most pervasive issues America faces, right up there with sexism and homophobia.
Hell--when I walk home alone at night, even I get a little freaked out if I see a black guy walking toward me.
And my last boyfriend was black.
Racism is literally bred into American people.
You can't live in the south for twelve years without seeing this first hand.

Is that 'racism', or is it common sense based on either sound instinct or awareness of statistics? Statistics such as the following, appertaining to the US:
'Of the nearly 770,000 violent interracial crimes committed every year involving blacks and whites, blacks commit 85 percent and whites commit 15 percent.'
www.colorofcrime.com/2005/10/t…
And if 'racism' is such a deep-seated problem, how about nationalism as a solution? The blacks could be given a nice black country with no white racists to hold them back. Imagine how they could astonish us all with their achievements under those favourable circumstances.

Living in both the north and south for about half my life each- I find it a bit of a toss up. Everyone has their biases. Group enough of the same together, you get a voting bloc.
Racism is bred into the human race in entirety.
Thankfully, humans can do this great little thing called evolve.
Tribalism doesn't necessarily "evolve"
No--but society does.
We've evolved at least *mostly* to the point where we consider rape wrong.
Racism is no different.

That depends on your culture.
Western culture thinks it's wrong, Eastern culture doesn't.
Christian culture thinks it's wrong, Islamic culture doesn't.
