The wording I used in my post and comments on it was incorrect and moreover too harsh. I do not support communism or outright socialism, merely progressive left wing Democracy with some socialist elements.
I am truly sorry to anybody I offended who has had to deal with communism in their country. I do not support what the USSR or any other ultra-left did.
That being said, I do still support left-wing politics and many programs intended to eliminate poverty and a poor underclass.
