ANOTHER school shooting. Can we finally BAN GUNS yet? What is going to take??

Another right-wing yahoo in Texas shot up a school with a automatic assault rifle and killed two people, including a police officer, and wounded 5 others (wounded numbers are still being confirmed).

What is is goina take for us to ban guns already? how many mass shootings do we need to have?

They banned alcohol at one point. You know how well that worked? It didn't.

It's just like with drugs today, it doesn't matter if it's illegal, the people who are going to abuse guns don't give two shits whether or not it's illegal.

If guns get banned, the sale of guns will go underground, then people who want to protect themselves can't get them, and criminals who really want them will go get them. Unfortunately, that's how illegal things make it around; the only way we could really make sure fewer criminals get guns is doing background checks on the person before they can buy the gun.

It wasn't a school shooting, he didn't shoot up a school. Stop being a sensationalist idiot. The main problem with the US isn't it's sluttily relaxed gun laws, but it's culture, and your screaming sensationalism is a manifestation of the same manically paranoid culture that leads to the highest rates of gun crime in the Western world.

Ban guns then! We can still get them illegally, just like everything else this country makes illegal. If they really want to shoot up the place, banning guns isn't going to stop them.
