Wisconsin Sikh temple shooter a radical right-wing xenophobe?

:iconhooded-wanderer:
That really seems to be the case with Wade Michael Page from the looks of the media outlets, and there are substansial claims to back this up.

First off, according to the SPLC which claims to have been tracking page for quite a while was a member of two skinhead music bands he seems to have both started at different periods; End Apathy and Definite Hate. He's also apparently a bit of a celebrity in the Skinhead/hammerhead music culture. [link]

Secondly, according to eye witness accounts, one of the most noticeable features was that he had a 9/11 tattoo. [link] Now of course this would obviously suggest he has a deep hatred for muslims for what Al-Qaeda did on 9/11, and killed all those people for revenge... Except for the fact that this was a Sikh temple he targeted, in which the religion is in no way what-so-ever connected with Islam. Why is this important to mention? There have been quite a few attacks against Sikhs and Hindu's after 9/11, the most famous being the murder of Balbir Singh Soldi [link] who wears a turban which is common for Sikh males to wear; and unfortunately many Americans stereotypically associate with Muslims.

So it's pretty clear in my opinion that this guy really is sort of an American version of Anders Breivik, someone who is so far-right, super conservative and xenophobic that he killed innocent people just because of they're religion, and how they looked.

But that is just my opinion on all this really. .

How exactly did you pin "right-wing conservative" onto this donkey? I see nothing in the news stories that would indicate that the shooter favors a balanced budget, limited government, and personal responsibility.

Please, explain. :|

Far-right, as in fascism.

Well then, why didn't you just say "fascism," instead of trying to associate that criminal with America's movement for limited government?

He didn't. He associated it with the right wing.

You just said he did, so...

No, I said he associated it with the fascists, i.e. right wingers who move for bigger government all the time.

no, you idiot the right is for limited government. the left is always pushing for more spending and more control.

if you can't even get that right then you have no business whatsoever in the politics forums. now go back to watching spongebob.

Limited government? Telling me who I can marry, telling women if they can and can't get abortions, and insisting on a larger and large military despite already having the largest military, that's your idea of limited government? The right is always pushing for more control over your life and for reckless tax cuts on the rich.

If you can't even see that, go back to the retirement home and keep complaining to your grandkids about how much you miss segregation and having a "good christian government".
