why don't liberals help the poor?

instead of complaining all the time, why don't you donate your time and money to helping the people you think need help?
I guess I will never understand why liberals don't just give more to help the poor if they are concerned about them?

I like how it seems like you clump all us liberals into the Democratic party, some of us are voting for Romney to counter balance the biparticine system so we still have checks and balances. By the way do anyone in either party remember why we have checks and balances? It's so we don't end up with one party with complete power. the democrats win this year, we go bankrupt... More so, republicans win everything we end up with no liberties, both bad things. Republicans make sure we have a balanced free trade market where democrats fight for the liberties of the people. Both are very necessarily, some of us crazy cold hearted liberals remember this. Don't get me wrong I hated Bush, but it's because he wasn't Republican enough when we needed it, Obama isn't Liberal enough, but at this moment we need financial security, not gay marriage and half baked medical insurance that the country can't afford right now. And everyone in the democratic party thinks that he's helping the economy, He's spent more than any president before him, EVEN Bush, he's a moron! How do you spend more than BUSH?!
Sorry if I blew up at you but just because someone is a liberal doesn't mean they are clumped together in the same group as everyone else. Besides that, your wrong democrats spend most of their energy helping people who are sick or needy, they are the most bleeding heart people I've met, unlike my cold hearted nonparticin self. I support the liberal agenda but I understand that without that delicate balance in place our country's government system would fall through and we'd end up living in a hellish desenigrating state that would soon become part of a richer larger country OR a financial communist state. It's a delicate balance, don't tip it.
I go off on tangents I know but back to the subject at hand, what have you done for the needy lately?
