Sounds ok to me, as long as they don't party too hard and decide to play Russian roulette.

~DAMusicForum Recreating the highschool experience. This time we're the cool kids.
I'm far too pessimistic to answer "good." I think arming students (or anyone else outside of law enforcement) creates way more problems than it solves.

People who've passed concealed carry courses are by and far not the people who commit gun crimes on campus. In addition, with the high number of rapes on your average university/college, I think it's a good deterrent. I would definitely support this kind of bill on m campus considering the really poor lighting at night.
When there is an alcohol-related tragedy on campus, you dont hear claims that giving students a 12-pack is the solution, he said." This line however, wtf, people are allowed to be morons and there's no law against drinking enough alcohol to kill yourself. Not to mention that alcohol is hell and gone from murder. How could this guy even make this comparason? Oh yeah, because binge drinking is just as bad as murdering half a dozen students. Moron.

Because giving the government even more power over us is a great solution. What's the country with the lowest gun crime? Oh yeah, Sweden, where everyone has 2 years of military training and almost everyone owns one or more guns.
Yeah, guns really make more problems.

I'm sure the law requires the concealed weapon carrier to have some sort of permit/training.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P

If I'm not mistaken, I believe Missouri passed a similar bill as well. So... carrying concealed weapons in school: good or bad? and why?
