And all those - before and later - in any country - connected with the development of ABC-Weapons.

I find it difficult to believe that every single intelligent person belongs to a specific political ideology. Though this doesn't exactly defend the right wing, the Nazi party considered themselves "right wing" apposed to the Communist party's left wing prior to them coming into power. The Nazi's had very intelligent (if a tad sick) scientists developing lethal gasses.

I know some scientists that are fairly right-wing. Especially in political science and Econ. I've known a couple of Biologists that are super right-wing as well.

That said the vast, vast majority of scientists I know are largely apolitical and pretty much just want funding to do their work and don't really care what happens past that.

It'd be very unlikely that there are absolutely zero right-leaning scientists out there
