Mary Sue.
A beacon that lights from across the ocean after the trumpet's call.
Hitler is actually a good metaphor.
They both are appreciated only by those who were indoctrinated to do so.
They both have large amounts of power.
Those who weren't indoctrinated to follow them generally hate them.
They are genocidal and immoral.
However, the only discrepancy is that Hitler existed.

Hitler was a terrible example. His genocide reasons were ethnocentric and a bad cause. All the hollocust were by the assumption that the jew race was inferior to the government.
God's genocide reason because the people had sinned against him, and he got soo upset by what they were doing that there is a better reason to be punish, not because of racial disguishment.

The Amalekites killed by the Hebrews in the book of Joshua did not sin in any way other than not believing in Yahweh.
If you think that is basis for genocide, why aren't you killing two-thirds of the world population (all the non-Christians) right now?

Sure we can say God is a hard working guy, who has to maintain all the people on the planet at once. Could say he is the queen ant, where they are huge, and yet they provide for the most part.
ITs proven how tough his job is in Bruce Almighty. And that was a fun movie.

They made it seem like it's a tough job in Bruce Almighty save one thing is that it's taken from the mortal perspective. Depending on the interpretation of God it is attributed with omnipotence, omniscience and omnipresence. How exactly that would be is basically illogical and impssible to know. The hitch of the matter is that omnipotence means anything is possible if Bruce was omnipotent then he would be able to answer everyones prayers and if he was omniscient he would have known a way to do so without consequence.
This is pretty accurate, though still only a metaphor: [link]
Anthony Fremont.
You subscribed to AronRa, haven't you?
Just recently, but I haven't heard him mention the Fremont kid. Not yet, anyway.
I think he brings him up once or twice. And he does, the comparison is actually a bit creepy.
I think God is some supernatural power which created us and which guides us all through our lives, helps us in making decisions, teaches us to help each other and helps us live a worthy life.
Tha's a literal description. The OP is asking for a metaphorical one.
RAGING alcoholic bi-poplar deity.
That's no metaphor!
STILL MAKES SOMEWHAT OF A POINT!
BUT IT'S OFF TOPIC, TRUEFACTS
